Tartuflanghe Truffle Festival
The precious white truffle is the star of “Tartuflanghe Truffle Festival”, the 1st event devoted to Truffle.
Organized in cooperation with the official importer in Hong Kong Abrate and Sons, it takes place in Hong Kong.
For the occasion Tartuflanghe has gathered the best chefs of the Asian metropolis in order to showcase several gourmet appointments to taste its specialties both traditional and innovative. This joint venture between fine dining and precious white truffle will be hosted in some of the most famous locations in the city.
The festival started on Tuesday November 1st and it runs until Saturday December 17th when the white truffle will be celebrated with a gala dinner with Michelin Star Chef Pino Lavarra and Tartuflanghe CEO Paolo Montanaro at Tosca, Ritz Carlton Hotel. The menu designed for this special event has been created in order to enhance the presence and the taste of white truffle form Alba in association with Chef Lavarra fine cuisine. A joint venture to offer the Tuber magnatum Pico, one of the most rare and prized foods, at its best.
On Tuesday November 15th Italian cuisine and Tartuflanghe products were the stars at Nicholini’s, Conrad. Chef Luca De Berardinis has designed Truffle menu paired with Barolo and Barbaresco Wines sponsored by Abrate & Sons. Truffle chips, dehydrated capers, the perlage range and encapsulated oil with white truffle were handled by Chef De Bernardinis in order to create an exclusive journey around truffle. Next Tartuflanghe event at Nicholini’s will be on Thursday December 15th to celebrate Christmas with Chef Luca De Berardinis Tartuflanghe finger food and Abrate and Sons wines.
Spanish Chef Agustin Balbi designed a Truffle tasting Menu for his restaurant THE OCEAN in Repulse Bay: the best seafood, coming from sustainable fishing methods, paired with Tartuflanghe white truffle in a beautiful location.
This is a 360° initiative that saw, in addition to famous chefs, also Green Monday Shops participating to Tartuflanghe Truffle Fest. Besides the fact that Tartuflanghe products are available at Green Monday Shops, in the restaurant of Central boutique, a special recipe was devoted to gourmet and truffle lovers.
