June 26th, an exclusive dinner by United Olive Oil Import Corp + Tartuflanghe Feat. 1* Michelin Chef Giuseppe Iannotti at Frankies 457 Spuntino in NYC

New York City from a different point of view, a garden, a chef, excellent ingredients, with a wink at the Italian-American cuisine.

This is the a simple premise to a one-night event organized by United Olive Oil Import Corp and Tartuflanghe at the Frankies 457 Spuntino restaurant where Italy and US will merge. In the framework of a brick-built building, built in the early 900’s, overlooks the well-kept garden that will host this dinner where the chef Giuseppe Iannotti’s dishes will be a surprise inspired by the culinary culture linked to the history of Italians in America.
 
Italianness in its declinations and geographical features joins the Brooklyn restaurant of the Frankie Spuntino group thanks to the idea of ​​Tommaso Asaro and Paolo Montanaro, young owners of United Olive Oil Import Corp and Tartuflanghe.

United Olive Oil Import Corp, a company founded in 2004, is a landmark for retailers and restaurateurs in the US for natural and organic Sicilian products and ambassador of the Mediterranean diet culture. Tommaso, the fourth generation of the Asaro family, producer of Sicilian extra virgin olive oil since 1916, brings with it the passion for the highest quality of raw materials and ingredients.


Tartuflanghe, a dynamic Piedmontese company born in 1980, creates specialties with truffle, a precious product of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato area, Unesco heritage. The special relationship with NYC began in 1992 when the Tartufissima, the world’s first truffle pasta, was awarded with the “Outstanding New Product” award at the annual Fancy Food Show. Since then, Tartuflanghe keeps on creating new ways to become a landmark for high-gastronomic and innovative products, promoting Langhe’s local specialties.
 
For this special night Giuseppe Iannotti, owner and chef of the Kresios restaurant in Telese Terme, played in his own way with yesterday and today’s best-known recipes, such as pizza, pasta Alfredo and cheesecake. He will be able to give a new and different interpretation to timeless myths. The chef’s dishes will combine with the genuine and original creations of the Frankies 457 Spuntino menu. This distinctive restaurant has become one of the most loved restaurants in the Brooklyn area, making genuineness and naturalness the real strengths of its philosophy.
